Marconi Express announces that this morning, Tuesday, April 23, the service on monorail, suspended from Friday, April 12 to Monday, April 22, was reactivated to allow the restoration of the resin on the running route, as scheduled in the maintenance program.
However, the adverse weather conditions of the past few days did not allow the completion of some minor works, which will be completed on Friday, April 26.
On Friday, April 26, the connection between the airport and Bologna Central Station, and vice versa, will be by shuttle bus, with the following departure points:
- at the airport on the ground floor at the arrivals exit;
- at the Lazzaretto station on Via Terracini;
- at the central station on Via Carracci.
Transfers take about 25 minutes, with an intermediate stop at Lazzaretto station. The costs and methods of purchasing tickets for the shuttle-bus service are the same as for the monorail service.
Finally, please note that on Friday, April 26, a strike is called by all workers in the local public transport sector. The strike also affects Marconi Express personnel, whose service may not be guaranteed from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
